Dennise A. Williams

Dennise Williams (MBA - Banking & Finance), CEO, Credit Repair Services

A financial counselor approved by the Office of the Supervisor of Insolvency under the Insolvency Act (2014), Ms. Williams works with persons who require debt counseling to untangle financial concerns.   This relates to the rehabilitation of debtors having due regard to the protection of the rights of creditors and other stakeholders.

As a result of working with debtors who fall under the Insolvency Act (2014), Ms. Williams saw the need to work with clients PRIOR to them falling into insolvency.  This led to the creation of a debt counseling practice that focuses on credit repair as a tool to bring dignity to the consumer debt management process.

And so the company, Credit Repair Service, was born in 2021.

Mrs. Williams is the Managing Director of Credit Repair Services.  In addition to her role as President of Caribbean Credit Repair Association (CCRA), Ms. Williams is the CEO of Financially Focused, a financial success coaching company focused on building investing and income plans for clients.

As a part of her commitment to community development, Ms. Williams serves on the JSE Market Research Committee and the boards of the JSE Jamaica Social Stock Exchange;  the Jamaica Downs Syndrome Foundation (JDSF); the Professional Sales Representative Association of Jamaica (PSRAJ) , and the Small Business Association of Jamaica (SBAJ).

In terms of education, Ms. Williams recently was awarded certification in Banking & Monetary Management from the University of Shanghai in China in 2016.   In 2008, the Masters in Business with a specialization in Banking & Finance was awarded from the Mona School of Business & Management from the University of the West Indies.   From 1994 to 2007,  Mrs. Williams was awarded a Bachelor’s in Accounting from the University of Houston Downtown (1994) and journalism from the University of Dehli in India (2007).
